Our TEXAS CHUCK WAGON is an authentic representation of the chuck wagon that was designed and built by Charles Goodnight in 1865.

Chuck Wagons were used on cattle drives as a kitchen to prepare food and feed the cowboys as well as to carry supplies, bedrolls, and serve as headquarters. Cowboys moved the herds of Texas longhorn cattle up the Chisholm Trail to railheads in Kansas for transport by trains to the eastern U.S.

Today, Chuck wagons are used for catering, display, demonstrations, parties, trail rides, wagon trains, cattle roundups, and competition cooking.

Our TEXAS CHUCK WAGON is a restored wagon over 100 years old , authentic in every detail and ready for use. 

1. An original restored undercarriage and wheels.
2. Two board high wagon box.
3. Complete brake system.
4. Wood wagon tongue, doubletree, neck yoke, and stay chains.
5. Ash hardwood wagon bows with hand-forged bow clips and canvas tie-down hooks.
6. Spring wagon seat.
7. Standard 40" chuck box, with two shelves, four drawers and hand forged hinges.
8. Tin on top of chuck box and lid.
9. Barrel rack with a 30 gallon oak water barrel and hinged top.
